Why did you make this choice and what were your expectations?
I wanted a streamer without a lot of features, knowing that most of the time I wouldn't need them anyway.
Here it is, pure purism. My expectations weren't to hear the last bell, I rather wanted to enjoy the musical flow.
Je voulais un streamer sans trop de fonctionnalités, sachant que la plupart du temps je n'en aurais de toute façon pas besoin.
Le voici, puriste à l'extrême. Mes attentes n'étaient pas d'entendre la dernière note, mais plutôt d'apprécier le flux musical.

What are the results?
If you are looking for a digital source with a really analog sound, you will definitely be happy here.
This often-mentioned missing emotional component, which is often attributed to digital players, is not to be found here at all.
Such a fine treble, never sharp and annoying. Really suitable for the long term.
Then this melt in the voice reproduction… Was this spiced with a sprinkling of frosting? I have the feeling, yes, but so wonderfully fine and soulful, it's really great how my Tannoy transport it. Last but not least, the bass. The Tannoy are very precise in the bass range, explosively dynamic and dry. But now a certain juiciness and blackness has been added. A real experience!
Needless to say, razor-sharp contours and spatial depth also stand out here.
I have not had a better digital device here. It's just great fun to experience music with this setup.
Si vous recherchez une source numérique avec un son vraiment analogique, vous serez certainement satisfaits ici.
Cette composante émotionnelle manquante, souvent attribuée aux lecteurs numériques, n'est pas du tout présente.
Des aigus d'une grande finesse, jamais tranchants ni gênants. Vraiment approprié pour une longue écoute.
Ensuite, cette fusion dans la reproduction de la voix. Est-ce qu'elle est épicée avec une couche de glaçage ? J'ai l'impression que oui, mais si merveilleusement fine et pleine d'âme, c'est vraiment génial comment mes Tannoy la transportent.
Dernier point, mais non des moindres, les basses. Les Tannoy sont très précis dans les basses, extrêmement dynamiques et sèches. Mais à présent, une certaine jutosité et une certaine noirceur ont été ajoutées. Une véritable expérience !
Il va sans dire que les contours très nets et la profondeur spatiale se distinguent également ici.
Je n'ai jamais eu un meilleur appareil numérique. C'est un vrai plaisir de vivre la musique avec ce setup.
